Yours Featured. Your face does not age in isolation. Natural Rejuvenation

Live online, Saturdays 7 to 28 November

4 Saturdays of Natural Rejuvenation

Qigong for the whole body. Face Yoga for the face. Reflection to bring the practice into everyday life.

For the moment you catch yourself in a photograph and look more tired, or more stern, than you feel inside.

From €18. Beginners welcome. 14 days to change your mind.

If this is familiar

“Do I really look like that?”

It usually happens with a photograph. One taken at work, or at a family occasion, where you look stern, or tired, or somehow closed. And you think: that is not how I feel.

Inside, you are still warm, still curious, still interested in people. But years of concentration, difficult conversations, screen work and quietly holding everything together have started to show on the outside. The brow tightens when you focus. The jaw sets when you hold back what you would really like to say. By mid-afternoon your shoulders have crept up towards your ears, and you rarely notice until they ache.

You may have noticed the deeper lines between your brows, eyes that look hollow and tired, a jawline softening into jowls.

What bothers you most is probably not the lines. It is that the face in the photograph does not match the person you know yourself to be.

You do not need to look thirty again. You would simply like to recognise yourself.

Your face does not age in isolation.

It is connected to how you breathe, how you stand, where you hold tension and how you move through your day. You already know this, because you look different after a restful weekend than you do after a hard week.

Natural Rejuvenation works with all of it together. That is why each Saturday begins with Qigong and continues with Face Yoga, and why both come with a moment of reflection.

What a Saturday looks like

Two live classes, with a pause between them.

Both classes are live on Zoom, taught by me. Come to both, or to the one that feels right for you.

Your camera can stay on or off, as you prefer, and you will never be asked why.

Recordings are shared only with the people enrolled in the four-Saturday options. Nobody who takes part is ever shared without their permission first. If I use a moment from a class to show my teaching elsewhere, it will only ever show me, with no names, faces or voices of anyone else.

If you join one of the four-Saturday options, every class is recorded for you, so if a Saturday gets away from you, you can practise from the recording that week.

09:30until 10:15

Natural Rejuvenation Qigong

Forty-five minutes of standing and flowing movement from the White Tiger Qigong tradition. Slow, focused and deliberate, it builds mobility, posture and vitality, and opens the neck, shoulders and upper body that influence how you hold tension through the face. It is physical work for the body and focused work for the mind, and you finish with more energy and an easier breath.

30 minutes

Time for a glass of water, a cup of tea, and a few lines in your notebook.

10:45until 11:30

Natural Rejuvenation Face Yoga

Forty-five minutes of progressive exercises that tone and lift the muscles of the face, the way exercise works anywhere else in the body. We work on what you see in the mirror: droopy eyelids, tear troughs, sunken cheeks, jowls and frown lines, and release the tension that deepens them.

Saturdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 November. Times shown for Central Europe.

Four Saturdays, four focuses

Qigong for release, posture and breath

Every Saturday begins with Qigong, bringing the whole body into the practice. Through gentle, flowing movements, we release tension in the neck, shoulders and back, improve posture and mobility, and encourage the free flow of energy throughout the body. At the same time, we cultivate presence, awareness and a sense of being grounded, bringing body, breath and mind together.

The Face Yoga class then explores a different focus each Saturday.

7 November. The neck and jawline.

Releasing tension in the facial muscles that can contribute to a heavier-looking jawline, then toning the muscles that support the jawline and neck.

14 November. The forehead and frown lines.

Softening habitual tension in the forehead and learning to open your eyes without automatically lifting your brows.

21 November. The eyes.

Restoring movement and building tone around the eyes, with a focus on drooping eyelids and the under-eye area.

28 November. The cheeks.

Stretching and releasing tension in the cheek muscles, then toning them to support lift and fullness.

At the end of each class

Something to carry into your week.

Every class ends with a reflection prompt for your journal. It helps each Saturday stay with you, so it becomes part of your week rather than an exercise class you attend and forget.

If you are on a four-Saturday option and would like to go deeper, practise along with the full class recording. Repetition is what makes the difference.

The home practices are designed to fit around a full week. There are no streaks to keep, and a missed day is simply a missed day. You pick it up again the next morning, and nothing is lost.

Try this now, and notice what happens

  1. Let your teeth part slightly and your tongue rest softly on the roof of your mouth.
  2. Let your shoulders drop, then let them drop a little further.
  3. Breathe out slowly through your nose and empty your lungs. Then breathe in through your nose, into your abdomen, feeling your stomach expand. Continue breathing in and out through your nose, normally.
  4. Now notice your brow. Has it changed too?

If it has, you have just felt the idea these Saturdays are built on, without touching your face at all. In the Face Yoga classes, we build on that with exercises that release and tone the face directly.

Choose your practice

Come in through the door that feels right.

If your face is what brought you here, the Face Yoga Saturdays are a natural place to start. If it is your posture, your breath or the tension you carry in your neck and shoulders, begin with the Qigong Saturdays. And if you would like to feel for yourself why the face and body belong together, the complete Natural Rejuvenation Saturdays are where that becomes clear.

If you would rather try before deciding anything, come to a single Face Yoga or Qigong class on 7 November and see how it feels.

Every option includes the live classes, a home practice after each class and a reflection prompt, and the four-Saturday options also include the recordings. Prices include VAT.

Hanna Sahlman

Natural Rejuvenation Coach and founder of Yours Featured

In my early forties I caught sight of myself in harsh light and hardly recognised the face looking back at me. Years of stress and depletion had begun to show, and no amount of good intention was going to talk me out of what I could see.

For a few years I quietly avoided being photographed, which is why the upper picture, of me at 46, was never meant to be a before.

What changed things was practice. White Tiger Qigong gave me back my posture, my breath and my energy. Face Yoga gave me a way to work directly with my face, toning, lifting and releasing tension I had held for years. And contemplation helped me reframe how I saw myself and how I related to ageing, including all the messages about it that we absorb from the world around us.

These Saturdays are the simplest way I know to share that. Two practices, each taught properly, with time between them to let them land, and a few questions to take home with you.

What it taught me matters more than the result. Caring for your face can be something supportive and strengthening, rather than something driven by criticism. That is the practice I want to hand you.

So you know what you are joining

What this is not.

  • Not a promise to take twenty years off your face. Four Saturdays are a beginning.
  • Not about deciding something is wrong with you. Your face is not a problem to be fixed.
  • Not a relaxation class. Both practices are training, and you will feel the work.
  • Not a medical treatment. It does not replace medical advice or care.
  • Not another thing to feel guilty about. Missing a practice undoes nothing. You simply pick it up again.

Before you decide

The questions people actually ask.

I have never done Qigong or Face Yoga. Is that all right?
Completely. Every movement is taught from the beginning, and you work at the level your own body is at today. You do not need to be flexible, fit or confident to start.
Can I try one class first and continue later?
Yes. Book a single class on 7 November, and if you would like to carry on, what you paid for it comes off the price of the Qigong Saturdays, the Face Yoga Saturdays or the complete Natural Rejuvenation Saturdays.
It is my face I am concerned about. Why would I do Qigong?
You do not have to. The Face Yoga Saturdays stand on their own. But the tension in your face is often held further down, in the neck, shoulders and breath, and Qigong works on exactly those places. Practised together, each supports the other. The complete Natural Rejuvenation Saturdays are the easiest way to find out whether that is true for you.
What if a Saturday does not work for me?
If you are on one of the four-Saturday options, every class is recorded, so you can practise from the recording that week. You can also send me a question beforehand and I will answer it in the class. Single classes are live only.
Do I need to practise between Saturdays?
No. Turning up and practising together each Saturday is what matters most, and once a week will make a difference on its own. If you would like to go deeper and notice results sooner, practise in between: 10 to 15 minutes a day for Face Yoga, and Qigong three times a week. Each class ends with a home practice and a reflection prompt to help you.
Will I see a difference in four weeks?
Many people feel a difference quickly, particularly where held tension is a large part of the picture: a softer jaw, a less furrowed brow, shoulders that sit lower. Muscle tone builds more slowly, as it does anywhere in the body. How much you notice also depends on how much you practise: coming each Saturday makes a difference, and more focused practice in between brings more. What four Saturdays reliably give you is the technique and the start of a habit, which is what makes lasting change possible.
What do I need?
For Qigong, a little space around you to stand and move freely. For Face Yoga, a mirror and somewhere comfortable to sit. For both, Zoom, a glass of water and a notebook.
Can I join from anywhere?
From almost anywhere. The one exception is that I cannot currently accept bookings from people living in the United States or Canada.
Can I ask you something first?
Please do. Reply to any of my emails and I will answer you myself, or book a free fifteen minute call if you would rather talk it through.
